Welcome to Bayou Land Candles is a down home provider of candles, wax melts, and homemade body products that began as just a small idea. Owned by Matt and Kaylee Campbell, it was started in 2020 to make scents available to customers all year long.

With everything happening in 2020, it caused our household to be turned upside down. Matt could no longer work outside of the home due to an illness he has battled for over 6 years.

While quarantined for months on end, he thought of many ways to make money and help keep the household afloat. He decided that he wanted to work with his hands and create things that people could enjoy. One thing he thought about was candles, because his wife waited impatiently every holiday season to buy her favorite Bath and Body Works scents to fill the house and car. He wanted to bring that to customers all year long!

After 8 long months of quarantine and struggles, he finally had enough to invest in his business. From there, he and Kaylee began the journey of candle making.

Our company has started small, we currently have a large variety of scents available with expanding lists every month. All of scents are available in 7oz, 16 oz, and wax melts. We also specialize in custom and designer orders. Everything you receive can be customized from the jar, scent, color, design, even label. Everything we make is handcrafted to your specifications. All custom orders are a 48-72 hour turn around before being shipped or delivered.

We will be expanding in 2022 to include body care products such as whipped body butters and sugar scrubs, bath salts, soaps, and bath bombs.
